Prior to joining the firm, Jordan served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Jeffrey B. Ford of the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court of Illinois and for the Honorable Judge Colin S. Bruce for the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois. There, Jordan researched and wrote on matters involving intellectual property, breach of contract and products liability.
Jordan worked in-house as a summer associate in Allstate’s legal department.
While in law school, Jordan prepared a brief to the Illinois Appellate Court in a criminal case on behalf of the State of Illinois through the University of Illinois College of Law’s State Appellate Prosecutor Clinic. During his second year, Jordan was the recipient of the campus-wide Diversity Education and Social Justice Award for Outstanding Graduate Student. He also served as the Admissions Editor for the University of Illinois Law Review, as a research assistant, and as a teaching assistant for first-year legal writing courses.
